Intrinsic motivation and curiosity have been active research topics recently in the field of Developmental Robots, where the robots need to learn, explore, acquire their skills and interact with different objects driven by their curiosity, i.e., driven by internally generated signals. This seminar work should present the work by H.Huang and et.al. showing how the robot can be gentle in interacting with fragile objects.
The work should consider the following points:
- what is intrinsic motivation
- which methods are presented in the paper
- discuss the experiments and the results in the paper
Learning Gentle Object Manipulation with Curiosity-Driven Deep Reinforcement Learning
