In the annual "Akademievorlesungen", which this year revolve around the general topic of "Kommunikation", J. Steil talked about the communication between (humanoid) robots and humans upon invitation of the Branschweig'sche Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft. Such diverse topics as force-based haptic communication, appearance, and ethical concerns were featured. A lively discussion with the guests concluded the evening in the Schloss.
