Talk by Shivesh Kumar at IRP

Shivesh Kumar, M.Sc., Researcher in the robot control team at the DFKI Robotics Innovation Center (RIC), Bremen, will visit the IRP. His scientific interests include the study of the kinematics, the dynamics, and the control of serial, parallel, and hybrid serial-parallel mechanisms. In his talk (September 11, 14:00), Shivesh presents the general idea of a modular and distributable software framework called Hybrid Robot Dynamics (HyRoDyn) which can be used to solve the geometry, kinematics and dynamics of hybrid robotic systems with the help of a software database that stores the analytical solutions to parallel kinematics in a configurable and unit testable manner.
