On the 24.05., Prof. Steil delivered his traditional inaugural lecture to celebrate the appointment at the TU Braunschweig.
Upon this occasion, he was welcomed by the new president of the TU Braunschweig, Magnifizenz Prof. Dr.-Ing. Anke Kaysser-Pyzalla and the dean of the Carl-Friedrich-Gauss Fakultät Prof. Dr. Thilo Balke. The lecture entitled "Roboterlernen - Science und Fiction" (Robot learning - science and fiction) covered the fundamental work of Prof. Steil on robot learning algorithms, general considerations about the potential of robot learning for our future society and in the course of the general trend for digitalization, and application examples from recent and ongoing projects.
