One of the first award winning Franka Panda robots was already delivered to IRP has immediately been put in operation. The new robot received the Deutscher Zukunftspreis and sets a new standard for an easy-to-use and rather affordable platform that is suitable for human robot interaction. It will be used at IRP to continue its long term research activities on simplifying physical human-robot interaction und robot programming, in particular in the context of assembly tasks. To this aim, IRP develops controllers that aware human factors and personalized to their users.
